Performing Arts Animation for Studio Wayne McGregor Alpha

Hotbox Studios have begun production on the animated elements of Studio Wayne McGregor's new piece Alpha.

The performance looks at the effects of technology on the natural world and explores issues relating to sustainable living.

Dancer and choreographer Wayne McGregor directs a cast of five Random dancers in this enchanting tale for children aged eight upwards.

Breath-taking visuals, stunning commissioned music and amazing dance transport us to an unknown universe.

The show is produced in association with WWFLearning, and is supported by the Arts Council England, NESTA, The Ashden Trust, The Foyle Foundation, Sadler's Wells and the Lilian Baylis Theatre.

Hotbox Studios produced animation & visual effects for Alpha (In collaboration with Random Dance and Arts Council England), and also worked on pre and post production including: research and development, and post production for live performance projection.
