Supporting our employees and clients through COVID-19

Suddenly, everything has changed. The things we used to worry about, that seemed so important, are now a distant memory in the face of an unimaginable situation.

We hope you're safe, well, and where you're able doing all you can to make sure those around you are too. With the isolation, it may not seem it at times, although we're all in this together, and will come out of it, together.

At Hotbox Studios we've been working tirelessly to make sure that our employees are safe, and client services are maintained.

With the exclusion of myself, all of our employees are working from home.

As the nature of our services and support is digital, we have long had multiple layers of redundancy and remote access to our offices, data centres, and client systems in place. The current situation is of course changing how we regularly work, although as our employees can and often do work remotely; the day-to-day impact to operations is limited.

We are fortunate in that our client base is wide and varied, ranging from small local businesses to multinationals, based in the UK and around the world. Our most critical digital services include website hosting, ecommerce, cloud software, email services, domain registration, and digital marketing. All services our clients rely on for operations, promotion, communication, sales, administration and management.

There isn't a single sector, industry, or individual, the current situation hasn't impacted.

An impact we are feeling through our clients and suppliers.

Alongside the continued development of ongoing projects, we're focused on maintaining both the short and long-term service and support provided by the company.

As for everyone at present, the problems are changing on a near minute to minute basis, meaning the solutions are an ongoing work in progress. That said, what we have already put in place will allow for the continuation of the services and support we provide to our clients.

So, your websites and domains will stay online, your ecommerce solutions will continue to help you sell, your cloud software will be there to assist with administration and management, your email with communications, and your marketing to help people find you.

The road ahead, is not the one we planned for, although together, as always, we’ll get there...
