Website and CMS Design for the Hampshire County Council SPARK Umbraco website

We've been working with the SPARK team at Hampshire County Council to update the design and functionality of the SPARK website.

The SPARK website was setup by Hampshire County Council for Hampshire's children in care and care leavers. The SPARK website allows young people to find out what they can expect, are entitled to, and their rights whilst they are in the care of Hampshire. The SPARK website offers young people in Hampshire the opportunity to have their say about the care they receive, discuss issues with other young people in care and ask questions to those who make decisions about their lives.

We've been working with the Hampshire County Council SPARK team to update the design of the website and add new functionality for Hampshire SPARK users. New creative and technical areas of the Hampshire SPARK website we've worked on include:

• The design of a new and engaging content area to provide a less formal presentation of the new and existing content for members.
• The development of a new area within the website's CMS to manage the new members content section.
• The design of a new WYSIWYG page builder for the Umbraco CMS allowing page editors to add images, text, headings, polls, surveys and links via 'content boxes' incorporating the website's colour palette and styling. Each content box can be easily moved around the page, resized, shown and hidden as required using the admin interface thus allowing for an almost unlimited number of page layouts
