We've designed a new website and ecommerce solution for Blend and Bloom!
Blend and Bloom is a florist that specialises in locally sourced seasonal British and Fairtrade bouquets, posted direct to your door! Each week Blend and Bloom creates two new unique designs, customers can choose which design they would like, or leave it up to Blend and Bloom to surprise them!
Blend and Bloom also offers flowers for events including weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and corporate events.
When not designing new bouquets, Blend and Bloom can be found at farmer's markets in and around London, and regularly run floral workshops in London and Hampshire to teach flower crown making, bouquet and Christmas wreath design. Blend and Bloom also offers workshops for small groups including hen parties, birthday parties, for schools and corporate events.
We've worked with Blend and Bloom to design a website that is both visually appealing to showcase the beautiful floral arrangements, and with a User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) that makes it easy for visitors to navigate and make an order online.
The new Blend and Bloom website uses the Stripes Payment API to accept subscription payments, incorporates a blog allowing Tracey to post information and images about the week's bouquet designs, links to Eventbrite for workshop bookings and administration, and integrates with Mailchimp allowing Tracey to keep her customers up to date via her newsletter.
The new Blend and Bloom website is built on the WordPress Content Management System (CMS). We designed a custom WordPress theme for the website and customised the WordPress CMS using the ACF framework which makes editing and updating the website quick and easy for Tracey. We've developed the website using a Responsive Web Design (RWD) which allows for content to be delivered predictable irrespective of browser and device.
