Web design and Web Hosting for Hampshire County Council's SPARK website

Hotbox Studios is now providing web hosting and web design services for Hampshire County Council's SPARK website.

The SPARK website was setup by Hampshire County Council for Hampshire's children in care and care leavers. The website lets young people know what they can expect, are entitled to and their rights whilst they are in the care of Hampshire. The SPARK website's interactive features offers young people the opportunity to have their say about the care they receive, discuss issues with other young people in care and ask questions to those who make decisions about their lives.

We've been working with the team at Hampshire SPARK to help them move their web hosting over to Hotbox Studios. Following the web hosting transfer we've continued to work with Hampshire SPARK to update the design and add new functionality to the website.

Recent and forthcoming updates to the Hampshire SPARK website include:

• Styling updates to the website's layout and typography.
• Updating the website's Umbraco CMS to the latest version allowing for improved formatting, layout and security.
• Developing a Responsive Website Design for mobile users accessing the website via smartphones and tablets.
• Updating the Members Overview, Homepage, and adding Google Translate options.
• Updating the members comment functionality to make the chat features more intuitive.

Additionally to the design and functionality updates we're also providing the Hampshire SPARK team with full Umbraco CMS and Contour training sessions.
