Hotbox Events using PAAM Web Application for its staff and volunteer event management

Our sister company Hotbox Events is now using the new PAAM Onsite Software App for its staff and volunteer event management!

Hotbox Events first event in 2015 was the Latitude Festival where the company manages a team of over 700 staff and volunteers. The Hotbox Events team at Latitude Festival works across the festival site from the gates and wristband exchanges, through the campsites and on the fire towers, in the arena, kid’s area, guest area, woods, performer area and more!

The new PAAM Onsite Software App helped the Hotbox Events team at Latitude by providing:

  • Event data import from the company’s main PAAM system including staff and volunteer profiles, groups, shifts, ID photos and uploaded documents such as right to work passport scans.
  • Quick barcode scanning for staff and volunteer check-in and shift confirmation.
  • Recording that company documents such as Health and Safety have been read and signed.
  • Recording that application documents such as passports proving the applicants right to work have been seen and scanned.
  • Recording any onsite resources allocated such as radios.
  • Recording pass, ID card, uniform, and handbook allocation.
  • Comprehensive staff and volunteer profile database search.
  • The ability to quickly move staff and volunteers between groups, shifts, change hours, positions and resources via easy to use drag and drop functionality.
  • Recording shifts and hours worked, missed, and save notes against staff and volunteer profiles such as the reason for a missed shift.
  • Exports for other onsite agencies, event licencing and audit offices.
  • Exports for processing payroll.
  • Both a cloud and local NAS server version of the PAAM Onsite App for when with and without a reliable internet connection.
  • Wireless connectivity for notebooks, tablets and smartphones.
