Web Design and CMS Development for Meddo

We've been working with the team at Meddo designing a new website for the UK kitchen and bathroom design and installation company.

Meddo was founded in 2011 following several smaller building contractors coming together to form a team that could break the traditional stereotype of local builders. Meddo offers a building service for residential and commercial customers focused on understanding its client's requirements and realising these through a considered and detailed approach.

Before the design and development stage, we worked with the team at Meddo to perform user research. Using clearly defined personas we identified the target audiences for the website which were then used throughout the design and development stages of the website build.

The website we've designed for Meddo is developed upon the WordPress Content Management System (CMS). Our team created a custom design and icon set for the website working to the Meddo brand, then customised a base WordPress CMS tailoring this to the new Meddo website's requirements. Post the new website going live; the WordPress CMS allows the team at Meddo to quickly and easily login to add new pages, images, and copy.

We've integrated Advanced Custom Fields Professional (ACF Pro) into the Meddo website’s CMS; allowing for custom post and content structure across the Meddo website and CMS.

The Meddo website offers visitors a Mobile First Responsive Web Design (RWD) allowing for the Meddo website's content to be optimised for mobile interaction and predictably delivered irrespective of device e.g. desktop browser, notebook, tablet or smartphone.

The new Meddo website also integrates Facebook Live Chat, Postcode Lookup and Google Maps for the Meddo branch finder, and Ninja Forms for client form submission.

Looking to the SEO and PPC marketing of the website, we've integrated optimised landing pages ready for UK county-based marketing campaigns.

The final touches to the Meddo website included the setup of server caching and code minification to offer the fastest possible page load speeds across the new website.
