The Untold dance performance by performing arts company Studio Wayne McGregor spins a new physical storytelling magic with dancing bodies, evocative music, light and animation. Wayne McGregor and dancers from his company Studio Wayne McGregor, lead an inspiring group of inter-generational professional and non-professional performers in a piece where the traditional boundaries of age quietly disappear. With talented performers from 18 months old to 60+ years; Untold captures the arrows of time in a breathtakingly fresh and moving work.
Untold is a specially commissioned dance performance inspired by the timeless children's classic The Giving Tree written by Shel Silverstein. Untold opened at the York Theatre Royal - Yorkshire Dance's contribution to the Dansopolis programme, part of City of York Council's Dance York.
