Hotbox Studios hosting (websites, databases, and online software) is run from our UK based data centre (Maidenhead).
We run Dell servers, Dell Switches, and Cisco Security hardware.
Our systems are setup with a mirrored frontend; meaning one of the two front end web servers could fail without any interruption to websites or on-line services and with no loss of data. This setup also allows us to make critical updates again without any interruption to websites or on-line services. The third server hosts the databases; separating the critical data storage and number crunching from the viewing and interaction with websites.
As far as what this means for our client's - websites, online software and services are fast, reliable and secure.

If a domain is being transferred the transfer fee also covers the 1st year's registration fee.
Registering a domain name with Hotbox Studios guarantees your ownership of that domain indefinitely, post registration of the domain it is then registered in your name with Nominet www.Nominet.org.uk. Hotbox studios continues to administer the domain on your behalf although all ownership is in your name. If for any reason you decide to transfer the domain there are no additional charges imposed by Hotbox Studios Ltd.
