A graduate of the Royal College of Art London, Pip Horne established his architecture and design practice in 1994.

Hotbox sponsoring Rosalind (Roz) Clarke

Hotbox Studios and Hotbox Studios' sister company Hotbox Events are sponsoring Rosalind (Roz) Clarke who is sacrificing her cosy UK Christmas and New Year to volunteer with the Global Volunteer Network in Panama.

The Panama projects Roz has volunteered to work with are located in the valley of Boquete, and in the city of David. Boquete is situated in the western highlands of Panama, nestled amongst the country's most mountainous region this peaceful town is situated between the Caldera River and Baru Volcano. Boquete is a very safe place and has a large expatriate community of North Americans and Europeans. The city of David is located roughly 45 minutes away from Boquete and is the second largest city in Panama. David is situated on gently rolling plains about half way between the Pacific Ocean to the south and the Cordillera Talamanca Highlands to the North.

Childrens' Programs

With the help of Hotbox Studios and Hotbox Events, Roz will be helping children in need by developing and inspiring their minds and hearts. The children Roz will be working with seek love, attention, knowledge and education to empower them to have successful futures, free from poverty and filled with opportunities. The program works to create growth and development opportunities for children and teenagers with a focus on children living in orphanages and those who come from low income families. The volunteers working with this program help in orphanages assisting with daily activities and childcare duties; work with teenage mothers and their newborn children; work as a youth mentors helping with homework and being a friend to confide in and talk too; run Saturday morning soccer sessions and music classes.

Literacy Program

The ability to read, write and speak English is key for many Panamanians in the workforce or those planning to enter the workforce. Roz will be teaching English in the community of Boquete to both adults and younger students. The teaching and reading is done one-on-one or in small groups.

Retail Links Website Design

Hotbox Studios has been working closely with Retail Links - developing the Retail Links website which is content rich yet simple to navigate. Updates have included the new Mary Portas guide to successful retailing, news articles and simplification of the training section of the site.

Retail Links is part of The National Skills Academy and is an employer-led training centre of excellence. Retail Links offers a wide range of training and recruitment solutions to retail businesses across the South of the UK.

Retail Links is a partnership linking three training providers who deliver specialist retail and logistics training regionally. These are Basingstoke College of Technology (BCOT), Brockenhurst College and Highbury College.

Retail Links works closely with retail and associated logistics companies to meet the skill needs of the retail industry by providing flexible, demand-driven, high quality training, with the aim of producing appropriately skilled and qualified workers.

Clearwater Therapies Website Design

Hotbox Studios has been working with Sarah Morgan-Giles; updating the Clearwater Therapies website! Updates include:

• Addition of a blog/news section (based on WordPress and updateable by the client).
• New section detailing Clearwater Therapies' Acupressure & Auriculotherapy.
• Some design and navigational updates.

Run by Sarah Morgan-Giles, Clearwater Therapies offers effective and relaxing 'hands on' treatments and enjoyable fitness sessions suitable for almost everyone, regardless of age and previous activity levels.

Sarah Morgan-Giles has been involved in the fitness industry for 20 years, originally training to teach Exercise to Music, Step Aerobics and Circuits. Qualifications in all aspects of Aquarobics followed in 1993 and in 2002 Sarah trained under Michael King at the Pilates Institute in London.

Aware of the changing needs of her clients, in 2003, Sarah studied Sports and Therapeutic Massage, and in addition, Postural and Gait Analysis. Qualifying in 2008 in Craniosacral Therapy, with the Institute of Craniosacral Studies, was a natural progression, as recognising the benefits of cranial work through personal experience; Sarah was keen to share this with others.

Sarah is a registered Member of the Craniosacral Therapy Association, committed to ongoing training and personal development, is a member of Fitness Professionals, fully insured with Balens and holds a current First Aid qualification.

Hotbox Studios is proud to announce that in May 2010 Hotbox Studios agreed a new contract with Basingstoke College of Technology (BCOT).

Hotbox Studios, working closely with the BCOT Marketing and e-Confidence teams, is now handling the:

Shirazeh Houshiary Website Design

Hotbox Studios has been working closely with Shirazeh Houshiary developing the new version of Shirazeh's website, which is now live!

Both the design and content of Shirazeh's website have been updated. The navigation has been refined to allow for a more intuitive experience. New functionality has been incorporated to help bring visitors closer to the artworks. New collections of Shirazeh's paintings, drawings, animations, sculptures and site specific projects have been added to the new website.

Kangacrew Childcare Recruitment Software Development

Hotbox Studios has been working closely with Kangacrew Childcare Recruitment; developing a custom mailing list enabling Kangacrew to contact potential applicants with information about the latest opportunities available in the childcare industry.

DC Site Services will be using Hotbox Studios' Personnel Application, Administration & Management (PAAM) software to aid with the recruitment and management of two thousand five hundred staff at a variety of festivals and live events in 2010 including Glastonbury Festival, The Rage Factor, Latitude Festival, Sonisphere, Big Chill Festival, Reading Festival, Leeds Festival and BBC Proms in the Park.

Hotbox Studios Website Design

Hotbox Studios has updated the Hotbox Events website for the coming festival season!

Hotbox Events works closely with Festival organisers, Festival Republic, in recruiting and managing CAT & HAT staff and volunteers at Festival Republic's UK music festivals.

Updates have included adding a new section for the Big Chill Festival, updated page layouts, updated graphics, and updates to user community areas e.g. contact forms and galleries.

Hotbox Studios has been working closely with DC Site Services - updating the DC Site Services website for the 2010 music festival season!

DC Site Services (DCSS) provides staff to music festivals and live events in the UK; safety stewards, traffic marshals, recycling and litter teams.

Updates have included changes to the DC Site Services page layouts, FAQ format, gallery updates, graphics updates, and copy and link checking to aid with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
