Hotbox Studios – Web Design, Animation and Branding

Ice Floe is a Christmas Youth Dance Project - an annual collaboration between Laban and Greenwich Dance Agency. HotBox Studios producted animation and visual effects for Ice Floe (In collaboration with Random Dance and Arts Council England), also pre and post production including: research and development, and post production for live performance projection.

The extremities of our planet have for centuries fascinated human beings. Here at Ice Floe amidst sub zero temperatures, strange auroras and immense glaciers, 50 specimens take part in a dangerous living experiment. Trapped, Contained, Watched 24/7 - how would you survive? Someone holds the key to release them from their Antarctic destiny - their blazing escape. The search is on.

Random Dance's creative team worked with young people from the boroughs of Lewisham and Greenwich for an intensive week of workshops leading to two performances. Ice Floe is performing at the Bonnie Bird Theatre - Laban Centre, Creekside - London.
